Nikon Z5 vs. Nikon Z6

In a nutshell: If you want faster burst shooting or if video recording is important, we recommend the Z6. Otherwise, the Z5 is a very balanced option!

As you can see from the listing, the Nikon Z5 is quite close to the Z6 model if video recording is not the most important feature. A surprisingly large number of features such as stabilization, viewfinder, autofocus and body ergonomics are similar. This is suitable for a Nikon photographer as a first full-frame camera or, for example, as a second body for a Z6 or Z7 user.

On the other hand, Nikon has listened to user requests, and due to the streamlined video recording capabilities and continuous shooting, the XQD and CFExpress memory card slots have been replaced with two SD card slots.

Thanks to the full-frame sensor, this camera is at its best in demanding lighting conditions, the sensitivity can be expanded up to ISO 102400 and the dynamics are also good, meaning the image has great potential for post-processing.

With the FTZ adapter, you can attach almost all existing Nikon lenses to this camera. The Nikon Z5 is also available as a ready-made package with this adapter.
