The Nikkor Z 28mm is a fast lens designed for full-frame Z-series cameras, which also works with DX bodies. A handy-sized fixed wide-angle lens, even for travel use!

On DX sensor cameras, a 28mm lens is equivalent to a 42mm lens in cine format,   so it's versatile for portraits and landscapes, as well as everyday life and vlogging. The physical size of the lens also doesn't come in the way when you're on the go.

Like other Nikkor Z lenses, the control ring is programmable. The default function is manual focus, but you can also program the ring to adjust aperture, ISO sensitivity, or exposure compensation, for example.

In manual focus mode, the focus speed is determined by how fast or slow you turn the ring, and the focus ring is also suitably damped and has a good feel. This allows for really subtle focusing at best.
