Kameraliike has been selling drones since the first DJI Phantom model. This model did not include a camera as standard, but a lightweight action camera could be attached. We have come a long way since then and drones are now very reliable, flight characteristics and battery life have improved, as has the quality of the cameras.

We recommend DJI-made drones as they have very advanced software, the previously mentioned reliability issues are in order, and the cameras are sufficient for production use. This is partly due to the influence of DJI-owned Hasselblad on camera expertise.

First Drone

The DJI Mini 2 SE is an affordable drone with a camera. It's controlled by the same solid software as DJI's larger drones and uses technology honed over the years. In other words, it stands out from the crowd.

And completely contrary to what some people think, flying with this device is much easier and safer (i.e. more fun) than with toy models.

And this makes 4K video recording quite successful, and the small size encourages you to take the drone with you on a hiking trip where nature is at its best.

Drone with a better camera

We recommend the DJI Air 2S drone when you're looking for a drone with a better camera. This is suitable for hobbyists or light professional use.

The advantages of this model are the more advanced Ocusync 3 image transfer to the control device, a larger 1" sensor camera, and decent obstacle detection. Thanks to the larger sensor, the image quality is also good in low light and there is dynamics for landscape photography. The aperture value cannot be adjusted, so for more demanding video shooting, we recommend high-quality ND filters.

Professional photography drone

If you're not looking for a drone for filming a Hollywood production or an agri-drone for feeding cows, the DJI Mavic 3 covers most professional user needs. With two cameras, the most advanced DJI obstacle detection and great flight time, the DJI Mavic 3 is a great fit for small production companies.

There is also a Cinema version specifically designed for video recording with internal SSD storage, better video codecs, and a robust controller.
