Samyang's new Prima series 16mm wide-angle lens. So, as usual, Samyang promises image quality at a reasonable price! The lens works with full-frame and APS-C sensor cameras, in which case the equivalent focal length is approximately 25mm.

Weighing just 205 grams and measuring approximately 70mm in length, this is easy to carry around. It is also well suited for video shooting thanks to the new Linear STM focusing motor and excellent focus breathing control. Autofocus works quickly and smoothly.

The lens structure consists of eight elements in seven groups. One of the lens elements is a special aspherical lens that corrects distortion. There are seven diaphragm blades, so out-of-focus areas are elegantly soft.

Weather-sealed construction protects against dust, light rain and harsh conditions. Includes USB port for software updates.
