
The Samyang 60-180mm is part of the Samyang zoom lenses designed in collaboration with Schneider-Kreuznach. The F2.8 aperture, small size and 77mm filter thread make this a telephoto lens for even the most adventurous photographer.
This new lens from Samyang has been designed in collaboration with the German optics company Schneider-Kreuznach. Schneider-Kreuznach is a traditional player known for its high-end products and has done similar design collaborations with, for example, Phase One.

The Samyang 60-180mm is a fast and compact lens, its light weight and size are achieved thanks to the slightly less common 60mm focal length. The autofocus uses fast linear motors and supports Sony's advanced autofocus features.
The lens contains 17 elements in 14 groups. Ten of the lenses are special elements. With the lens structure, Samyang aims for the best possible and distortion-free image quality, also in the peripheral areas of the image. The lens is very compact in size compared to the aperture and focal length, weighing only 730g. The lens also has a 77mm filter thread.
The Samyang 60-180mm features autofocus and Sony's advanced features such as eye focus and subject detection work on the lens. The lens has a programmable button for activating focus features, for example. In addition, the body has a USB-C port for software updates.
Weatherproof to IP5X standard and the body is made of aluminum. In addition, the outer lens surfaces are treated with a dirt and water repellent coating.
