New II version of Samyang's autofocus and fast 50mm F1.4 lens!

Image quality has been improved even further, but the lens is surprisingly light and compact. Weighing just 420g, this is the lightest 50mm f/1.4 lens for Sony bodies.

This is a different optical design than the previous version, now using 11 lens elements, 6 of which are special lenses that reduce distortion or improve image quality. Nine rounded diaphragm blades produce soft backgrounds for subjects.

Sony's current bodies set completely new standards for autofocus speed, and the Samyang AF 50mm F1.4 II features the manufacturer's latest STM focusing motor.

The Samyang AF 50mm f/1.4 II is weather-sealed. A lens hood is also included.
