The Nikon Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S is a compact standard zoom. The lens is small when transported and can be opened to the shooting position by turning the zoom ring (without a lock switch). Z-Nikkor lenses have a fast and silent focusing motor, making them ideal for video shooting.

The focus ring is also programmable to adjust camera settings. Like Nikon Z bodies, the lenses are also weather-sealed.
