The Nikon Z 28-75mm f/2.8 is a completely new lens for Nikon Z series mirrorless cameras. It is the smallest and lightest F2.8 normal zoom lens Nikon has ever made. The Nikon 28-75mm F2.8 is 30% lighter than the Nikon 24-70mm S professional version.

Does the lens look familiar? Nikon doesn't say directly, but this lens is most likely made in collaboration with Tamron, as the optical design and other technical specifications are the same as Tamron's very popular 28-75mm lens.

The Tamron version was only available as Sony compatible. But now Nikon photographers will also have the same treat, and thanks to the collaboration, there will certainly be no compatibility issues.
