The Zeiss Conquest HDX 15x56 is the most powerful model in the Conquest series when the goal is to see as far as possible and distinguish even the smallest details. The 15x magnification makes it a telescope-like tool, designed especially for open terrain, such as coasts, large fields and of course all suitable vantage points. The large 56mm objective lens ensures that the image remains clear even in difficult lighting conditions.
A tripod adapter is included!
Conquest HDX utilizes Zeiss FieldFlattener technology, which ensures a razor-sharp image across the entire field of view. While conventional binoculars can soften the image towards the edges, FieldFlattener technology keeps details sharp from edge to edge, which is critical when searching for distant objects.
The optical core of the binoculars is based on the HD concept and high-quality ED glass, which effectively eliminates disturbing chromatic aberrations. The 15x56 model has an exceptionally high night vision index of 29, which allows you to follow objects well into the evening. Although the exit pupil is 3.7mm due to the magnification, the Abbe-König prisms and Zeiss T* coating maximize light transmission to the eye, making the image contrasty and natural.
High magnification demands stability. The Conquest HDX 15x56 is primarily intended for use from a supported position or on a tripod, where its enormous resolution can be fully exploited. In this case, it can replace the use of a separate telescope in many situations.
The magnesium body is designed to withstand heavy mechanical stress and extreme temperatures. The rubber coating provides a secure grip, and the focus wheel operates smoothly even with gloves on. Adjustable eyecups provide good viewing comfort even for eyeglass wearers, and the locking diopter adjustment ensures that settings remain in place.
The Conquest HDX 15x56 is the specialty tool in the series, chosen when 8x or 10x magnification is not enough to identify a target. It is heavier and bulkier than the 42mm models, but in return offers superior reach. If you are on the move a lot and your viewing is mainly done handheld, the Conquest HDX 10x56 or 8x42 are more versatile options, but for remote viewing the 15x56 is unmatched.
