In practice, these binoculars are an excellent tool for daylight and early twilight. Their 10x magnification helps you identify bird species or other wildlife from a distance, where 8x magnification may not be enough to see the finest details.

If you are mainly observing in low light or finding targets over a wide area is your priority, the Conquest HDX 8x42 general model may be a better option due to its wider field of view and larger exit pupil.
