The Sennheiser MKE 440 is a stereo shotgun microphone that focuses on capturing sound from the camera's field of view. The microphone consists of two shotgun microphones arranged in a V-shape. This means that the MKE 440 does not pick up extraneous noise from other directions, which is common with stereo microphones.
