The transmitters' microphones are omnidirectional, meaning you can use them to record background noise or conversations between multiple people, such as interviews. They can be attached directly to the performers using either a clip or a magnet. The receiver attaches to the camera's hot shoe or to a smartphone using the included USB-C or Lightning adapter.

All adjustments are made on the receiver's touchscreen, so there's no need to download a separate app. The screen allows you to adjust transmitter settings, including gain, low-cut filter, LED lights, memory, and mute microphones. The receiver has three recording modes to choose from:

• Stereo Mode: Transmitter 1 is the left channel and transmitter 2 is the right channel
• Mono Mode: The audio from both transmitters is combined and sent to both channels
• Safety Mode: Records an adjusted audio level on the left channel and a lower safety track on the right

The charging case extends the system's battery life to 15-18 hours. The charging case can be used as an interview microphone by leaving the transmitter inside the case. A suitable windscreen for the case is included for this use. The bottom of the case has a 1/4" thread for attaching to a tripod, so it can also be used as a table microphone.

All included system components and accessories fit into the included carrying case.
