A telephoto lens designed specifically for Sony's full-frame mirrorless cameras. Works with full-frame cameras like the Sony a7 and a9, but the lens is also compatible with the Sony Nex and a6xxx series cameras.

The autofocus Samyang AF 85mm f1.4 II lens has the same AF performance as Sony's own lenses. The fast telephoto lens is perfect for portraiture and portrait photography, for example.

There is a switch on the side of the lens that allows the focus ring to act as an aperture value changer. The lens also has a focus hold button (custom button default). The new focus motor is quieter than before.

The Samyang AF 85 mm f/1.4 FE II is designed to offer excellent optical performance, combining high sharpness with fine bokeh. Its optical construction consists of 11 elements arranged in eight groups. One of the elements is made of ED glass, which reduces chromatic aberration, or color bleeding. To achieve maximum sharpness, Samyang has used four HR (High Refractive) glass elements in the lens. They also contribute to the relatively small size of the lens, its length being less than ten centimeters. A nine-blade diaphragm helps create a soft, blurred background.

Samyang's powerful Ultra Multi Coating (UMS) ensures that images always have high contrast and brightness, as well as natural color reproduction. To avoid reflections caused by side light, it is recommended to use the included lens hood.
