The Samyang 75mm is the manufacturer's fifth autofocus lens for Sony's full-frame system bodies. Like its predecessors, it promises great image quality in a compact size. This Samyang AF 75mm works great for portrait photography, detailed product photography, and sports photography from a suitable distance.

For such a fast lens, the Samyang 75mm is very light, only 230 grams and the lens is 69mm long. The lens has a new feature that allows you to adjust the aperture by turning the focus ring. This means that when using autofocus, for example the EyeAF focus, which is great for portraits, you can adjust the depth of field using the aperture value with the focus ring.

In addition to sharpness and brightness, the lens has paid attention to the optical design. The goal has been to create beautifully drawn bokeh, meaning that out-of-focus areas look soft and the transition to sharp blur is smooth. In addition, the Samya AF 75mm contains 9 rounded diaphragm blades, so the beautiful drawing is maintained even when not shooting at full aperture.

The focus motor is a quiet STM motor, which is also suitable for video shooting thanks to its fast focusing.
