The Samyang 24-60mm is a fast and compact lens, its light weight and size are achieved thanks to the slightly rare 60mm focal length. The autofocus uses fast linear motors and supports Sony's advanced autofocus features.
The Samyang 24-60mm contains 14 elements in 11 groups. Eight of the lenses are special elements. With the lens structure, Samyang aims for the best possible and distortion-free image quality, also in the peripheral areas of the image. The lens is very compact in size compared to the aperture and focal length, weighing only 494g. The lens also has a 72mm filter thread.
