The RODE VideoMicro is a very small, lightweight (only 42g) and high-quality directional microphone that is suitable for use with all mirrorless and traditional DSLR cameras. Due to its size, the VideoMicro is also excellent for the DJI Osmo / Ronin handheld stabilizer.

As a forward-firing microphone, the VideoMicro reduces ambient noise and focuses on the sound in front of the camera, making the subject sound clear and crisp. The included Rycote Lyre suspension mechanism eliminates vibration, movement, and camera handling noise from the microphone. The WS9 windscreen is also included as standard, eliminating wind noise and hiss.

The microphone body is made of aluminum, so it can withstand even the toughest use. The microphone is powered by the camera connection.

It is also possible to use Rode VideoMicro on smart devices using the Rode SC7 adapter.
