Boya's small and lightweight BY-MM1 directional microphone, which is similar in features to Roden's VideoMicro . The biggest difference between the two is that the Boya comes with both TRS and TRRS cables , so it can be used with cameras/camcorders as well as smart devices.

As a forward-firing microphone, the BY-MM1 reduces ambient noise and focuses on the sound in front of the camera, making the subject you are recording clear and bright.

The microphone body is made of aluminum, so it can withstand even the toughest use. The microphone is powered by the camera connection.

A windscreen comes standard.
