The PolarPro Helix MagLock Base Plate is a magnetic adapter plate that attaches to the front thread of the lens and acts as a mounting base for all PolarPro Helix MagLock series filters. The plate makes attaching and removing filters a snap without constantly screwing in the threads.

The adapter plate features durable, smooth-running brass threads that hold it securely in place on the lens. It comes with a Defender Cap that extends over the edge to protect the front lens from impacts, dust, and scratches when the camera is not equipped with a filter.

Size and filter threads

The Helix Base Plate is available in a variety of thread sizes (e.g. 67mm, 72mm, 77mm, 82mm, 86mm and 95mm). Choose the size that matches your lens' front thread. The plates are also compatible with traditional step-up adapter rings, allowing you to use the same system on lenses of different sizes.
