The PolarPro Mini MagLock Base Plate 55mm is the foundation of the Mini MagLock filter system. The base plate screws directly onto the camera or compatible lenses (43-55mm). The low-profile aluminum plate allows for quick magnetic attachment of Mini MagLock filters and lens hoods.

The base plate features a durable, precision-machined brass thread for a smooth fit and long life. An aluminum Defender Cap lens cap is included, which attaches to the base plate to replace the standard lens cap and reliably protects the front lens when the camera is not in use.
