Professional-grade 70-200mm f/4 telephoto lens for L-mount bodies such as the Panasonic S5 or Leica SL2-S.

The Panasonic Pro 70-400mm F4 lens features OIS optical image stabilization. This, combined with the Panasonic S-series in-body stabilization, achieves a combined effect of up to 6 f-stops. The Panasonic Lumix S Pro series lenses meet the strict requirements of our partner Leica.

The lens structure consists of 23 elements in 17 groups. There are 9 diaphragm blades and they are rounded in shape. An aspherical lens and 3 ED lenses are used to eliminate distortion. The Panasonic 70-200mm produces beautiful bokeh, meaning objects outside the depth of field are drawn smoothly. Thanks to the smart design, vignetting is also minimized even at full aperture.

Autofocus is achieved precisely and silently with the help of an efficient linear motor. Manual focus can be switched on by pulling the focus ring, a distance table is also revealed under the focus ring, which shows the closest focusing distance and the infinity focus point. Like other Lumix S series lenses, the Panasonic 70-200mm is also designed to work in video shooting, the image moves very little when changing focus, so the so-called focus breathing is not a problem.

The lens comes with a detachable tripod collar. The Panasonic S 70-200mm is also compatible with later-released 1.4x and 2x teleconverters.
