Feet

The legs of the aluminum-constructed Manfrotto 645 Fast Twin video tripod consist of three parts and one lever-like lock.

Here is Manfrotto's new FAST locking system, which makes adjusting the legs extremely quick and easy. makes use incredibly easy and fast. A lever-like locking latch that can be pulled out opens the leg length adjustment, and thus the entire leg can be adjusted to the desired length in one movement. The advantages of the video tripod include that the legs do not change position when adjusting the height.

When fully extended, the tripod reaches a height of 157cm, and when the video head is included, the maximum height is approximately 173cm. The minimum working height is approximately 43.5cm, which makes it possible to get interesting angles when shooting from a tripod.

The legs have wide rubber feet that provide grip and protect delicate floor surfaces indoors. The rubber feet can be removed, allowing protruding ice/grass spikes to provide grip when shooting outdoors.

The legs can be locked to all standard dollies, meaning the tripod is also suitable for camera drives.

With a separately purchased center support, it is possible to lock the legs securely in place.

Mounting bowl and video head

The Manfrotto 645 tripod mount is a 2-in-1 model, meaning the tripod mount has a 100mm mount that can be converted to a 75mm mount with the included adapter. This allows for a wider range of video heads.

This tripod set comes with a high-quality liquid-damped Manfrotto 504X video head. The 504X video head has a maximum load capacity of about 12 kg (the maximum counterweight was 6.5 kg, however), which means it can support even a larger camera, even when the camera is surrounded by additional accessories needed for filming. High load capacity is also needed when using longer telephoto lenses.

The hand grip is adjustable in length and can be attached to either side. There is an additional 3/8" thread on both sides of the head for attaching additional accessories (light, monitor, etc.). A spirit level that can be read in the dark also makes it easier to put the camera on the rack.
