A more robust Pro version with better portability and longer battery life. Combo package includes focus motor, Ronin Image Transmitter and phone mount.
The DJI Ronin RS 4 Pro gimbal is the fourth generation DJI camera stabilizer, with a new algorithm that is more stable than its predecessor, improving low-angle shots, shooting while running, or changes in shooting angle from top to bottom or vice versa.
Reversible quick plate. Perhaps the most significant change compared to the old RS 3 model is the new quick plate, which allows you to quickly rotate the camera between portrait and landscape shooting. Also new is the joystick mode button on the left side of the screen.
Faster and more stable than ever. DJI RS 4 is designed for system and video cameras weighing up to 3 kg. The stabilizer's axes have a Teflon coating, which reduces friction and makes balancing smoother. Versatile adjustments are easy to make on the gimbal's 1.8" OLED screen.
Faster setup with automatic axis lock. Hold down the power button and the auto-lock will securely lock all axes, then turn the power back on and start shooting. The tilt axis fine-tuning screw allows you to easily and precisely adjust the tilt axis balance.
The battery is in the DJI RS 4 gimbal handle and is easy to replace for extra long shoots. The battery can shoot for about 12 hours, and charges in about 2.5 hours with 18W PowerDelivery charging.
Trajectory: pan 360 degrees, tilt -112 to +214 degrees and rotation -95 to +240 degrees. Operating speed: pan 360 degrees per second, tilt 360 degrees per second and rotation 360 degrees per second.
The RS 4 stabilizer also works with the DJI Ronin app, allowing you to control the gimbal remotely with your smartphone. Using Bluetooth, you can wirelessly control the camera's record button, start and stop, directly from the stabilizer's 1.8" screen. For other camera adjustments, you will need a camera control cable.
The gimbal has a large finger control that lets you control zoom, pan, tilt, or roll smoothly electronically, or use controls to change ISO, shutter speed, or aperture with cable-mounted cameras. All of these features are important tools for the solo photographer who has to manage a lot of small changes during a shoot.
