Feet

The Manfrotto 635 does not look like a traditional video tripod, but rather resembles a photography tripod in terms of its leg structure. The legs of the video tripod consist of three parts and a twist lock.

Manfrotto's FAST locking system makes adjusting the legs very quick and easy. The twistable Twist Lock collar opens the leg length adjustment, so the entire leg can be adjusted to the desired length in one movement. The advantages of the video tripod include that the legs do not change position when adjusting the height.

When fully extended, the tripod reaches a height of 155cm. The minimum working height is approximately 28.5cm, which makes it possible to get interesting angles when shooting from a tripod. (Note that these dimensions are also increased by the video head that is placed on the tripod).

The legs have wide rubber feet that provide grip and protect delicate floor surfaces indoors. The rubber feet can be removed, allowing protruding ice/grass spikes to provide grip when shooting outdoors.

The legs can be locked to all standard dollies, meaning the tripod is also suitable for camera drives.

Easy Link accessory connection

The tripod's central bridge has three 3/8-inch threaded accessory connections, which Manfrotto calls Easy Link. With the help of a separately purchased accessory arm (e.g. Manfrotto 244 Micro or Manfrotto 234 Flex Arm), you can connect, for example, an LED light or a shooting monitor to the tripod.

Mounting bowl

The Manfrotto 635 tripod has a 75mm ball head. You can use a separately purchased adapter to reduce the ball head to 60mm, and if you want to use a flat-bottomed camera head, you will need a 75mm hemispherical adapter.
