The Leica M6 10557 is externally very similar to the M6 released in 1984, but it borrows technology from the Leica MP model, such as a viewfinder with improved anti-reflective coating, a three-segment LED exposure meter display, and a battery level warning.

Leica also mentions modern electronic components, but the popularity of the Leica M6 model is partly based on the lack of electronics. That is, there is no automatic exposure or aperture control here. But with the clear exposure meter and the lens aperture ring, shooting is very natural.
