The widest lens from Fuji for medium format GFX system cameras. The cine equivalent focal length is 16-28mm, so this is a treat for landscape photographers. On the other hand, the image quality and zoom versatility work great for photographing architecture and the built environment.

Despite the wide angle of view and the larger sensor than the average size, the size and brightness have been well matched. The mechanical quality is at a level sufficient for professional use, but the weight is only 725 grams. Usability is also helped by the traditional 82mm filter thread.

The user interface is the same as other Fujinon lenses, meaning the focus ring is large and offers a really good feel. The aperture ring lets you control settings directly from the lens. Zooming is handled internally, meaning the lens size does not change when adjusting the focal length.

With such wide-angle lenses, performance against backlighting is important, and Fuji's Nano GI coating is used here, which keeps reflections under control and contrast good even in difficult conditions.
