The FujiFilm GF 80mm F1.7 is the fastest autofocus lens for Fuji's medium format system cameras such as the GFX 50R. The cine equivalent focal length is versatile at 63mm for portraiture, for example, and is also suitable for all types of photography. 80mm is a traditional medium format film standard lens. Thanks to the large f/1.7 aperture, this lens enables both low-light shooting and a narrow depth of field.

The image quality of the lens is suitable for high megapixel counts. The uncompromising image quality of the lens makes it a perfect companion for medium format professional cameras.

The lens is similar in usability to other FujiFilm GF lenses. The focus ring is large and has a good feel, so precise work is also possible when focusing manually. A physical aperture ring is used and aperture selection can be done directly from the lens with a third stop accuracy. In addition, the aperture ring can be used to directly select aperture automatic or a setting where the aperture value is adjusted via the camera.

The Fuji 80mm F1.7 is weather-sealed. The construction is made of durable alloy and the bayonet is made of brass.
