A special lens for video shooting! You can choose between smooth servo zoom and manual zoom. Thanks to the Power Zoom motor, speed and responsiveness are adjustable and zooming is possible with compatible cameras directly from the camera body trigger and can also be controlled remotely from a computer or phone app.

It is worth noting that the lens has a rare focal length range of 20-50mm. This, combined with compatibility with full-frame cameras, allows for the combination of ultra-wide-angle video and short telephoto in the same lens, i.e., it replaces the most commonly used focal lengths of two lenses in the same device. The wide 20mm head is also great for vlogging, and the 50mm is great for blurring the background and capturing details.

The wide angle is suitable for producing material for many social media channels with Open Gate video and, especially with 7K video, also offers room for cropping or image stabilization. But stability is also provided by the lens's effective 6-stop IS image stabilization, and when combined with Canon's in-body stabilization, the effect is as much as 8 stops.

Demanding video shooting has been the starting point for the design, and focusing is handled by the rear elements, minimizing the focus breathing phenomenon.
