NL Pure series binoculars with the widest field of view!
With the NL Pure series of binoculars, Swarovski targets customers who want excellent quality and a very wide field of view. A wide field of view is an advantage when you are 'scanning' the sky, spotting birds from tree branches, or when, for example, following a bird in flight.
The Swarovski NL Pure 10x42 binoculars offer one of the widest field of view in the world of binoculars, with a field of view of 133m@1000m.
Compared to the Swarovski EL series binoculars, the biggest differences between the NL Pure binoculars are the field of view and the external design.
| NL Pure 10x42 | EL 10x42 | |
| Field of view (at 1000 meters) | 133m | 112m |
| Closest focusing distance | 2m | 3.3m |
| Light transmission | 91% | 90% |
Kameraliike.fi tested: The first impression of the binoculars is really positive. The image quality is familiar from Swarovski EL binoculars, but it is complemented by a very wide and flat field of view. The image clearly has a 3D-like image, which provides a pleasant sense of depth. The wide field of view is sharp right up to the edges, and the curvature is non-existent at the edges. The design of the NL Pure tapering from the middle of the tube makes the binoculars really comfortable to hold.

Main features
The magnesium alloy binoculars have a new body design, and unlike the EL series binoculars, they do not have a double bridge. Both tubes of the binoculars narrow about halfway, which makes the binoculars easier to grip. A good grip is important when, for example, you are climbing in difficult rocky terrain, and you do not want the binoculars hanging from your neck to swing and hit a rock wall or tree trunk. The better ergonomics brought by the design are also an advantage for longer binocular trips.

Swarovski binoculars are traditionally coated with a rubber coating that covers almost the entire body of the binoculars. In addition to helping protect the optics, the rubber coating also allows for a firmer grip, even when the surface of the binoculars or your palms are slightly wet.
The large focus wheel, which fits comfortably and naturally under the index finger, has a pleasant feel. The closest focusing distance is 2 meters. To focus from the closest focusing distance to infinity, it takes about 2 full, smooth rotations of the focus ring.
The diopter adjustment (+- 4 dpt) is located behind the focus ring. This adjustment ring has a stiffer resistance, so it does not easily move to the wrong position accidentally.

Swarovski NL Pure binoculars come with a carrying strap, carrying case, lens cleaning cloth, front lens caps and eyepiece caps.
