SmallRig 3736 RA-S280 is an aluminum-framed air-damped lighting stand for handheld, LED panels, or studio flash units. The air brake is a safety feature that prevents the leg from collapsing all at once. The feature allows the leg to slowly lower when you unlock it or if it accidentally unlocks.

The center tube, consisting of three sections and two locks, rises to a maximum height of 280cm, and according to the manufacturer, can support a maximum load of 5kg.

The end of the stand has a fixed 5/8" stud, a standard lamp mounting stud. This also has a standard 1/4" male thread at the end.
