This Manfrotto 1052BAC is slightly larger and sturdier than the Manfrotto 1051BAC tripod.

The Manfrotto 1052BAC Compact Light Stand is a sturdy aluminum 4-piece light stand for handheld or studio flash units. The stand tubes are equipped with air suspension. The air brake is a safety feature that prevents the leg from collapsing all at once. This feature allows the leg to slowly lower when you unlock it or if it is accidentally unlocked.

The tripod body has a twist-screw tightening system. The tripod head has 1/4" and 3/8" male threads, and of course also a standard studio tripod 16mm light mount.

When folded, it can be conveniently stacked with other 1052 BAC stands.
