The Shimoda Side Street 22 Starter Kit includes the Shimoda Side Street 22 liter backpack and a Medium Top Loader camera insert/bag. The backpack opens from the top and sides, so you can easily access your gear without having to put the bag down. Additional space can be provided if needed with the expandable "roll-top" top.

The camera insert included in the backpack can hold a system camera and two lenses, for example a Sony A7 IV with 24-70mm and 70-200mm lenses. The camera insert can be detached from the backpack, allowing it to be carried as a shoulder bag when there is no need to carry the entire backpack.

The front zipper pocket provides quick access to the laptop compartment and the top of the backpack. The top can also be removed from the inside of the backpack, making it a small bag for shopping or snacks, for example. On the other side is a large zipper pocket with storage space for smaller equipment. The side pockets on the outside can hold a water bottle and a travel tripod.

The exterior of the backpack is made of water-repellent material and a rain cover is also included.
