Best camera backpack

If the best camera is the one you carry most often, the best camera backpack is one that can fit your cameras. When you shoot with system cameras, your equipment often becomes bulky.

In our online store, you can find the exact internal dimensions of camera backpacks in the technical specifications and often also a list of equipment that can fit inside, i.e. whether you can fit two bodies or a longer telephoto lens, for example. It is also worth paying attention to whether you can fit a laptop or other equipment, for example spare clothes. There are also huge differences in the number of pockets in backpacks, if you carry a lot of small items such as batteries, memory cards, cables, it is worth looking through the additional pictures and comparing.

In addition to traditional camera backpacks, the selection is now wide, meaning you can choose whether to attach the camera from the top, the back or the side. There are now colors other than black.

Increased competition has also affected quality, zippers are of higher quality, materials are carefully selected, and for example, Peak Design already offers a lifetime warranty on its products, and other brand manufacturers such as Lowepro and F-Stop also have long warranties.

Modular camera backpack

There are several so-called modular camera backpacks on the market. For example, F-stop, Peak Design, Wandrd and Shimoda manufacture these. Modularity means that the backpack does not have partitions or anything else, but internal parts, i.e. inserts, that you can choose to suit your own use.

The camera section can be chosen according to the size of the equipment or there can be several for different gigs. In addition to cameras, there can be separate internal sections for clothes, shoes and toiletries.

Camera backpack for nature photographers

The previously mentioned modular backpacks offer many options for nature photographers. The larger backpacks from Shimoda and F-Stop have a sturdy but lightweight metal frame that is similar to a backpack. Basically, camera backpack is a bit of a misnomer to describe these, these are really high-quality hiking gear that has been designed with photographers in mind.

On the other hand, Peak Design's Travel series is also very popular, even if you're not interested in cameras at all, they are good backpacks by any standard.

Discreet camera backpack for urban use

If you don't want to advertise that your backpack contains cameras, there is a great selection these days, Manfrotto's new models are almost minimalistic and Peak's very popular Everyday series is also stylish and works as a daypack.

But if you're looking for a little more than just a basic piece of transport equipment, Wandrd is a very interesting manufacturer. Newcomers like Boundary and Gomatic also make camera backpacks that you can and dare to take with you everywhere.
