The Rode Stereo Video MicPro is based on the popular VideoMic Pro and Stereo VideoMic microphones. It is designed as a high-quality solution for recording stereo audio for video applications. The Stereo VideoMic Pro is based on two sensitive ½-inch condenser capsules in an XY arrangement, which produces a coherent and natural stereo image.

The microphone has a built-in elastic suspension that effectively dampens handling noises and other mechanical interference.

The Stereo VideoMic Pro also includes a 75Hz bass cut and a -10 dB pad. For quieter sound sources, a +20 dB boost can be switched on, which helps to avoid the increase in noise floor caused by the microphone preamp of a DSLR camera.
