The new fifth generation version of the Rode NT1 microphone combines the same great sound with new features! Now you can choose whether to connect the microphone directly to a computer or a smart device via the USB-C connection and the sound will be generated via the internal AD converter. In this case, APHEX audio processing is also used. The Rode Connect software allows you to make adjustments such as background noise removal, compression, and noise gate and high pass filtering. Processing takes place directly on the microphone without burdening the computer. Multiple microphones can also be conveniently connected to the same device.

With a professional-grade analog XLR connector, you get completely pristine, unprocessed sound. Just plug your mic into the preamp and it works just like before.

The Rode NT1 microphone features a one-inch capsule with a built-in Rycote Lyre hanger. This means that the noise caused by handling the microphone is not heard in the recording. This fifth generation NT1 microphone has a wider frequency response than previous versions. The microphone records high tones with softness and lower bass sounds are warm and round. An incredibly low noise floor (4dBA) completes the excellent sound quality.

32bit floating point processing ensures an exceptionally wide dynamic range, from whisper to full shout, and the sound is always usable!
