The Nikon SB-5000 is a powerful radio-controlled flash unit that is perfect for professional photographers who want to effortlessly create complex combinations of fixed and remote flash units. Wireless radio control eliminates the need for a direct line of sight between the master flash unit and slave flash units, increasing reliability when shooting in bright sunlight.

Nikon's new built-in cooling system allows for over 100 shots to be taken in rapid succession at full power. This new flash unit, with its lightweight, compact design and clear controls, delivers unparalleled lighting capabilities in the field and in the studio.

The Nikon SB-5000 was developed at the same time as the Nikon D500 and D5 bodies. These two cameras feature Radio Control Advanced Wireless Lighting, which enables seamless camera-flash cooperation. Another new feature is the ability to control flashes via a computer.

The Nikon SB5000 flash has an internal cooling system that circulates cool air in the same way as studio flashes. The technology allows for up to 100 consecutive flashes without a break.
