This Nikon 1.4X TC extender is compatible with the Nikon Z 70-200mm F2.8 S lens. And there is no official confirmation of the information, but it will probably be compatible with the upcoming 100-400mm and 200-600mm telephoto zooms as well.

With Nikon Z cameras and compatible lenses, autofocus works up to F11 on all focus points.

The Nikon Z 1.4X Teleconverter is weather and dust-proof, making it a tough unit to work with S-series lenses. In addition, the outer lens surfaces of the teleconverter are treated with dirt-repellent fluorine, which also makes cleaning easier.
