This studio stand is equipped with air suspension . The air brake is a safety feature that prevents the leg from collapsing all at once. This feature allows the leg to slowly lower when you unlock it or if it is accidentally unlocked.

The Manfrotto 1004BAC Master is a sturdy aluminum light stand with a load capacity of 9 kilos , so it is suitable for heavier lights. The telescopic parts of the 3-part stand are damped. This means that if the lock becomes loose or if the lock is accidentally released, the flash will descend calmly.

The tripod head has 1/4" and 3/8" male threads as well as a standard studio tripod 16mm light mount. The tripod has a removable Manfrotto Pigot 013 head, so you can attach parts with stud mounts to the head of this tripod (so-called RANKER STAND).

The stand can be bundled together with similar ones to minimize transport space.
