Now there's an interesting new camera! Film cameras have become very popular in recent years, but there haven't been any new alternatives on the market or any good used ones at reasonable prices.

Kodak Snapic A1 at a glance: This looks good, the film advance and frame counter are automatic, meaning we are really far from those reusable cameras where you have to do everything yourself. The optics are a three-element wide-angle with glass lenses, the focal length is 25mm and the aperture is F9.5. There is also a built-in flash (which also remembers the setting!), double exposures are possible directly.

What's not here: there is no autofocus in the camera, you don't really need to focus the camera thanks to the wide 25mm focal length and F9.5 aperture, the shutter speed is also always the same 1/100, which means you need more sensitive film or flash in low light. However, there is so-called zone focus, which means there is a dedicated position for close-up photography in addition to infinity, which means you can also shoot at a distance of 0.5-1.5m.

The camera was designed by the same team at Reto as the recommended Kodak Ektar half-cinema cameras and Charmera key-back cameras, meaning the team understands nostalgia and fun. According to initial tests, the image quality is also good, and the wide angle works well for such more relaxed shooting. The sharpness is good, the optics vignetting is somewhat, but this also works as an effect.
