The Fujifilm Instax Wide Evo works like a traditional Instax instant camera

The Instax Wide EVO is as easy to use as the Instax Mini 12 instant camera, making it a family favorite. The image you take with the camera prints out as a 62 x 99mm physical paper photo. It only takes about a minute to develop, and its size means you can keep the photo memory in your wallet.

Fujifilm Instax Wide Evo works as a digital camera

The Fujifilm Instax Wide EVO is a hybrid camera that, like the LiPlay, SQ10 and SQ20 cameras, allows you to take digital photos in addition to paper photos, which are saved in JPEG format on a microSD memory card or the camera's internal memory (can hold approximately 45 digital photos).

The device has a microSD memory card slot. According to the manufacturer, a 1GB capacity can hold approximately 850 images and approximately 280 images with Wide Angle on.

The advantage of digital photography is that you can later choose the best images to print as Instax paper photos. This saves film paper and money as unsuccessful shots are not printed as paper photos.

The Instax Wide EVO acts as a convenient mobile printer that lets you print any image onto Instax Wide paper. For example, you can take a picture with your phone and print it onto film, quickly getting a paper image.
