The Hoya HD MkII Protector filter is Hoya's highest quality protective filter! Made of reinforced optical glass. Provides the best protection against scratches, impacts and dirt. The renewed MkII version is four times more durable HD glass, compared to normal protective filters.

Hoya HD MkII chemically strengthened optical glass is the strongest protection for valuable lenses. Multi-layer coatings (total of 16 layers) on both sides of the filter make the filter completely clear, giving the best light transmission and the filter does not affect the image at all. HD MkII is treated to be water, oil and dirt repellent, making it a truly stress-free protective filter.

The filter has a low profile, the glass is mounted in the frame using a special high-pressure technology, making the filter even more durable and protective. The filter's low frame does not vignette with wide-angle lenses.
