Hoya Fusion Antistatic Protector 86mm filter

Hoya Fusion is a replacement and improved version of the Hoya Pro1 filter. The lens surfaces of the Fusion filter are treated with antistatic, so dust, dirt and fingerprints do not stick to the surface very easily. If something sticks to the surface of the filter, it is easy to remove by wiping it with a microfiber cloth. The surface is also more wear-resistant than normal, so it does not scratch easily.

The filters are low profile (only approx. 5mm thick at the edge), so there is no risk of vignetting. The filter has a female thread on the end that can be attached to a normal lens cap.

Fusion filters are manufactured in Japan. Hoya Fusion filters do not cause any noticeable color distortion or reduce contrast, so the filter has virtually no effect on image quality.
