This device has a USB Type C connector, meaning it is suitable for Android smartphones or tablets with a USB-C connector.

Note: Although new Apple devices have a USB-C connection, this unfortunately does not currently work - the phone app is only available for the Android operating system.

The very small Explorer E20 Plus thermal camera, which can be connected to a phone, is suitable for bird photographers and birdwatchers, for example, to help them locate birds on tree branches. In addition, this is a good option for home renovators or even hikers and adventurers.

The Hikmicro Explorer E20 Plus requires the free Hikmicro Sight app for Android to work. Once you have installed it, you can start viewing thermal readings by turning on the thermal camera and connecting the device to your phone.

The thermal camera has a detection range of up to 970 meters under ideal conditions. Six different color palettes enable detection in different situations and environmental conditions. The device also has a separate Birdwatching Mode, which is aimed at bird watchers and bird photographers.

MSX (Multi-Spectral Dynamic Imaging) is a combination of images from a real camera and a thermal camera. This makes it easier and better to visualize thermal data.
