Systematic is Gitzo's strongest and most stable tripod series. The tripods in the series are popular, especially among demanding professional photographers. Thanks to the modular design, it is possible to attach, for example, a center tube, a leveling pad or other Systematic accessories to the tripod.

The Gitzo GT4553S replaces the GT4552TS tripod.

The Gitzo GT4553S is a sturdy, 6-layer carbon fiber modular tripod without a center tube. The Gitzo Systematic series tripods are equipped with a flat mounting plate, which can be replaced with a center tube or leveling plate if necessary. The center tubeless and wide leg opening angle allow the tripod to be used very low.

The legs are also equipped with Gitzo G-locks, which hold the legs firmly at the desired length.
