Peak Design's more robust middle tripod in the Pro Tripod series. The Pro Tripod is sturdy and rises to a height of approximately 168cm. Load capacity 18kg. Material: Carbon fiber

Peak Design has once again reinvented the tripod market. The Pro Carbon Fiber Tripod takes the original Travel Tripod's recipe for success to a whole new level - this is a professional tool that still has the flexibility to take on adventures.
While the Travel Tripod series focuses on portability and compact size, the Pro Tripod series offers more stability, height, and professional features for heavier cameras and also for super telephoto lenses.
The Pro Series Tripods come in three different models: this Standard, the lighter Lite, and the taller Tall. This model combines great stability with a compact size.
The transport length of the stand is only 50cm, so it can be carried on the side of a backpack, for example.
Don't let its small size fool you, though: the Pro can carry up to 18kg and reaches a height of 168cm, which is enough height for many shooting situations. The carbon fiber legs and CNC-machined aluminum parts ensure the stability expected from professional tripods and the vibration reduction offered by carbon fiber, even in demanding conditions.
The legs feature Peak Design's redesigned quick-release system for lightning-fast setup and teardown. The center tube swivels for low-angle shooting, and it conveniently holds a magnetic hex key and a separately purchased phone mount.
The Pro Ball Head supplied with the tripod is the same type of really well-designed head as the Travel Tripod but now with professional-level stability. The head has an independent locking for panning, which is implemented with fluid damping. This allows for smooth and controlled lateral movements when shooting video even without a separate video head.
The ball head tightening ring has been redesigned for a better feel, and the Arca-Swiss compatible quick release is equipped with a safety lock. The spirit level is positioned so that it can be read even when the camera is attached.
Peak Design has built an entire ecosystem around the Pro Tripod. You can add the Tilt Mod for pan/tilt videography, or the Pro Leveling Base for larger video production setups. The tripod has attachment points for Peak Design straps, and it works seamlessly with the entire Peak Design system.
For low-angle shots, the center tube can be turned upside down or removed completely (so-called low-mode).
There is an integrated magnetic space inside the center tube for the included folding Allen key, so the tool is always with you for tightening the quick plate or for maintenance.
