The Fuji XF 70-300mm is a compact but high-quality telephoto zoom. It is great for shooting hobbies on the side of the field or nature photography. The cine equivalent focal length is 457mm at maximum zoom and promises sharper image quality even at full f5.6 aperture.

Compared to other manufacturers' so-called 'kitty' zooms, this Fuji stands out with its quality. The mechanical quality is okay, the body is made of metal, and the performance and image quality are okay.

The Fuji 70-300 includes small details that are often only found on better lenses, such as autofocus limitation. There is a button on the side of the lens that allows you to limit autofocus to only focus on objects that are more than 5m away. This is useful, for example, when shooting in nature if there are branches or other obstacles between the subject and the camera. The number of meters can also be adjusted in the camera menus to exactly what you want.

Focusing is fast and this works in conjunction with all of Fuji's smart focusing features such as EyeAF.

The Fuji 70-300mm is compatible with 1.4X and 2X teleconverters! By combining the lens with the 2X teleconverter, you achieve a cine equivalent focal length of 914mm! Autofocus and other features also work with the teleconverters.

The lens is a WR series, meaning it is equipped with a weather-protected structure, making it well suited to the changing conditions in Finland. The zoom also has a lock, so it is suitable for carrying around on a strap in the field.
