Fuji's XC 35mm is essentially an old lens in a new body. Optically, it's exactly the same as the XF 35MM WR, which costs about twice as much. The image quality is the same, but the price has been made much more affordable by omitting the weather protection and separate aperture ring. The mount is also made of plastic and the lens weighs only about 130 grams.

This lens is great for all Fuji photographers as an additional lens, for example with a kit zoom. The focal length corresponds to the classic 50mm focal length in cine format, so you can shoot portraits, product photos and landscape photos with it. The image quality is good even at full aperture and there is plenty of light compared to zooms. However, we recommend the more expensive XF version if you are using, for example, an X-T3 body and you shoot a lot in difficult conditions.
