Fotopro X Aircross is a lightweight monopod made of carbon fiber, designed specifically for mobile use. Weighing only 295 grams, the tripod can be easily carried in a backpack or bag thanks to its small size. The transport length is 44cm. The sales package also includes a phone holder and a Gopro-compatible action camera mount.
The 1/4" threads on both ends of the tripod make it a versatile tool for a variety of shooting needs:
Monopod: Works as a traditional support for the camera in situations where a tripod is too heavy or slow to set up. Also works great as a so-called tripod, i.e. a support for binoculars, for example on a birdwatching tower.
Extension arm: Thanks to its lightness and length, the tripod can be used as a hands-free extension arm (e.g. a selfie stick) for 360 cameras or action cameras, which allows for high viewing angles. The end of the stick has a joint, so you can point the camera just right when taking a selfie.
Boom: The product can also be used for recording as a microphone or additional light.
The carbon fiber construction makes the tube stiff and durable in relation to its weight. The material is also pleasant to handle in cold conditions, as it does not conduct cold in the same way as aluminum.
The tripod consists of five sections and has a maximum height of 165 cm. In the transport position, the length is 44 cm. A good 5kg load capacity is more than enough for most mirrorless cameras and standard lenses.
The manufacturer grants a 6-year warranty on the product.
