Monopods

A monopod is a camera stand, but with only one leg. A monopod is used to stabilize and support a camera. Unlike a tripod, this one has only one leg, making it lighter, more compact, and easier to carry than a traditional tripod. A monopod provides additional stability and support, especially when the camera cannot be held in your hand all the time, but a complete level of stability is not needed, such as during long exposures or in a moving environment.
