DJI Osmo Mobile 8 supports 360° panning and Apple DockKit. Tracking works in the phone's own camera app. Telescopic arm and built-in additional legs. Multifunctional Module included.

The DJI Osmo Mobile 8 supports unlimited 360° panning, tracking works in the phone's own camera app, and the gimbal now supports Apple DockKit. The pan axis can be tilted, which allows for low-angle shooting with a comfortable grip on the gimbal.
The Multifunctional Module includes a shooting light, enables intelligent tracking, and is compatible with two DJI Mic 3, Mic 2, or Mic Mini transmitters. In addition to humans, it can now also track dogs and cats.
Subject tracking is possible with Module with all software. So there is no need to use DJI's own limited application, but for example, shooting via the Blackmagic app with tracking features is possible.
Supports direct phone connection, allowing tracking with your phone's own camera app. New pan axis status indicator shows tracking status in real time. With Apple DockKit compatibility, the gimbal offers intelligent tracking in over 200 iOS apps, covering a wide range of shooting situations. The pan axis has a USB-C port for charging the phone's battery.
The DJI Osmo Mobile 8 is designed to be easy to use, with easy-to-learn controls and a quick learning curve. The gimbal is suitable for advanced users as well as first-time gimbal buyers due to its functionality and quality.
The gimbal's cinematic use is further enhanced by the sidewheel, which allows you to manually zoom or focus. This function enables the so-called cell phone hitchcock shooting, or Vertigo's staircase effect, which combines zooming and camera movement at the same time. By pressing the wheel, you can choose whether you want to adjust the phone's focus or zoom.
Follow - the gimbal follows the selected subject by panning and tilting up and down, but not sideways. Used in situations where the subject is moving from left to right and vice versa and up and down, for example, crouching and standing up.
Tilt Lock - the gimbal will follow the selected subject only by panning. This setting is suitable for situations where the subject is moving from left to right and vice versa on flat terrain.
In FPV mode, all three axes of the gimbal work while following a subject. Used for example when filming skateboarding, children playing, animals, or selfies when there is movement in all directions.
SpinShot - the gimbal can be motorized to the left or right using the joystick on the handle. This is used when the gimbal is used to pan forward or backward (i.e. the cameraman moves forward/backward while simultaneously steering the gimbal left/right). It also works when shooting from an overhead angle.
The phone stabilizer communicates with the phone via Bluetooth and has many functions that make shooting easier, which can be accessed via the DJI Mimo App. Ready-made shooting modes include: Sports, Portrait, Inverted (bottom angle), Landscape, Time-Lapse, Motion-Lapse, Hyperlapse, Panorama, Slow-Motion, etc.
You can also control your phone with hand gestures, and by downloading the DJI Mimo app to your Apple Watch, you can control the gimbal via your smartwatch.
The improved magnetic phone mount takes a firmer grip on the phone and the stabilizer now has a place for a counterweight if you want to use lens modules or other accessories, for example.
DJI clearly stands out from its competitors in the quality of its software. Mobile apps like DJI Mimo are very functional and contain great features.
ActiveTrack 7.0 is an improved version of the familiar tracking feature. This update improves multi-object detection and tracking. Now the gimbal can also track objects and pets, such as cats and dogs, and supports the zoom feature in tracking.
Ready-made shooting modes make it easy and fast to start shooting. Whether you want to capture your surroundings in a panorama, "multiply" yourself in multiple locations in one photo, or shoot a variety of videos from stories to time-lapse, the DJI Osmo Mobile 7 makes it easy for first-time users to realize their ideas.
