In addition to the Multifunctional Module, the Creator Combo includes the Mic Mini 2 transmitter with USB-C receiver and accessories.

A special feature of the DJI Osmo Mobile 8P is its detachable display module, which also functions as a remote control. It allows the user to frame the image, adjust settings, and control the gimbal remotely.

The stabilizer supports unlimited 360° panning, tracking works in the phone's own camera app, and the stabilizer now supports Apple DockKit. The pan axis can be tilted, which allows for shooting from a low angle with a comfortable grip on the stabilizer.

The new Osmo FrameTap mirrors the view from your phone or Multifunctional Module 2. You can see the image clearly and easily control the composition whether you are shooting with the rear camera or remotely. The remote control screen automatically recognizes objects and shows them framed. Start tracking by tapping on the desired object, and easily change what to track by tapping on another recognized object.

Thanks to Apple DockKit compatibility, the gimbal offers intelligent tracking in over 200 iOS apps, covering a wide range of shooting situations.

Multifunctional Module 2 includes a shooting light, enables intelligent tracking and compatibility with two DJI Mic series transmitters. In addition to people, it is now also able to track dogs and cats. Tracking of the subject is possible with the Module with all software. So there is no need to use DJI's own limited application, but for example, shooting through the Blackmagic app with tracking features is possible.

The gimbal's cinematic use is further enhanced by the sidewheel, which allows you to manually zoom or focus. This function enables the so-called cell phone hitchcock shooting, or Vertigo's staircase effect, which combines zooming and camera movement at the same time. By pressing the wheel, you can choose whether you want to adjust the phone's focus or zoom.

FTF - the gimbal follows the selected subject by panning and tilting up and down, but does not tilt sideways. Used in situations where the subject moves from left to right and vice versa and up and down, for example when crouching and standing up.

PF - the gimbal follows the selected object by panning only. This setting is suitable for situations where the object moves from left to right and vice versa on flat terrain.

In FPV mode, all three axes of the gimbal work while following a subject. Used for example when filming skateboarding, children playing, animals, or selfies when there is movement in all directions.

SpinShot - the gimbal can be motorized to the left or right using the joystick on the handle. This is used when the gimbal is used to pan forward or backward (i.e. the cameraman moves forward/backward while simultaneously steering the gimbal left/right). It also works when shooting from an overhead angle.

The phone stabilizer communicates with the phone via Bluetooth and has many functions that make shooting easier, which can be accessed via the DJI Mimo App. Ready-made shooting modes include: Sports, Portrait, Inverted (bottom angle), Landscape, Time-Lapse, Motion-Lapse, Hyperlapse, Panorama, Slow-Motion, etc.

You can also control your phone with hand gestures, and by downloading the DJI Mimo app to your Apple Watch, you can control the gimbal via your smartwatch.

The magnetic phone mount provides a secure grip on your phone, and the gimbal has a place for a counterweight if you want to use lens modules or other accessories. The gimbal arm has a USB-C port for charging your phone's battery.
